Jeanologia will take part in trade show Colombiatex, January 23-25, presenting the world’s first ever laundry plant 5.Zero that guarantees “zero” waste and pollution. This pioneering plant allows a saving up to 85% on water and chemical usage in the textile industry, contributing considerably to the protection of the environment, at the same time as having a more productive and efficient industry. With Laundry 5.Zero the Colombian market will be more competitive, accelerating the time to market, and offering a sustainable, innovative and fashionable product.
Jesus Blay, Area Manager of Jeanologia in Latin America, explained that the Laundry 5.Zero “is another contribution of Jeanologia to the sustainability of the planet, since it will suppose for the textile industry a remarkable saving of chemicals, energy and up to 85% of Water”. Jeanologia will also show in Colombiatex its collection 5. Zero. Achieving the 5 Zeros is possible thanks to the combination of Jeanologia’s technologies: the laser, the ozone and the eflow. The collection has been developed under the concept of zero discharge, zero manual scraping, zero potassium permanganate, zero stones and zero bleach.
The choice of fabric is essential to achieve a collection like 5.Zero. For this reason, Jeanologia makes available to the industry the Light Sensitive Fabric Test (LSF), a study that analyzes how denim reacts with new sustainable processes, in order to achieve the desired washes and looks, reducing water consumption, chemicals and energy. Visitors to Colombiatex will be able to test their fabrics at the Jeanologia stand.
